BRITISH AERODROMES.

In the House of Commons to-day, in answer to a question. Miss Margaret Bondfield, Minister of Labour, stated that the Unemployment Grants Committee in the last 12 months had approved of schemes for new civil municipal aerodromes at Bristol, Cardiff, Hull, Norwich, Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Stoke-on-Trent. AIDING UNEMPLOYED. RAILWAY. EXCURSION FARES. The London Midland and Scotland railway is providing special facilities during the holidays to enable unemployed Horwich mills people to travel to the seaside on the dole without losing the benefit. Tickets are to be issued whereby the holder can return daily to Horwich at considerably less than the excursion rates in order to sign the books at the labour exchanges.
