WELLINGTON, July 23. ; Acknowledging the compliment paid him by the Reformers of Hurunui and | the action of the national executive •of the Reform Party in regard to the ; matter, Mr Forbes to-day said that | his views in regard to the desirability | of securing the utmost unity and cooperation among all sections of the community had not changed, but had strengthened. He was even more convinced to-day that it would be in the best interests of the country were it possible to put them in operation. He hoped that the lead shown by the electors of Hurunui might lie followed in other parts of the Dominion.
