OROUA DOWNS.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) OROUA DOWNS, July 21. Full loads of “bobby” calves are now leaving this district, and farmers are onco again getting down to work for tho forthcoming season. On Monday evening a “kitchen tea” was given by the residents of Oroua Downs to Miss May Gimblett and Mr Lanco Sexton. Friends of both Mr Sexton and Miss Gimblett gathered in tho local hall whoro j dancing was indulged in until tho small , hours of tho morning. A dainty supper j was served. Mr H. Procter carried out tho duties of M.C. and Miss McKenzie and Mr G. Millard, of Baincsse, supplied excellent danco music. Mr J. Cameron presented tho largo number of gifts to the young couple, and Mr Sexton suitably responded.
