CLERGYMAN ATTACKED.

INCIDENT IN ULSTER. LONDON, July 21. Adopting Chicago gangster methods, armed men kidnapped the Scottish preacher, Rev. David Bennie, in his night attire at Corneay, County Cavan (South Ulster), Ireland, bundled him into a car, severely handled him and made him apologise, for a speech he delivered on July 12 (Orange Day). They then dumped him on the road ten miles from his home. Mr Bennie reached his residence at five o’clock in the morning, in an exhausted condition.
