.. GIRL DEFIES THE REFEREE. CHRISTCHURCH, July 21. The hockey match Technical v. Rawhiti Senior B, on Saturday, came to an abrupt ending through one of the Rawhiti players refusing to leave the field when ordered off by. the referee, who objected to remarks passed by her. On the player refusing to, leave the field the referee stopped the game and awarded the match to Technical.
