Seas rather rough at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits, Wfc otherwise smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate to fresh north-west to westerly winds in especially in western districts. remperatures moderate.

DISTRICT REPORT. The Government meteorologist telegraped to-day :-The indications are for northerly moderate winds. There is a prospect of fair weather, but 1 - creasing haze and cloudiness later. The barometer is falling slowly.
