(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, July 1. Mr E. E. Hirst, registrar, supplies the following details of vital statistics for the quarter ending June 30, 1931, with the figures for the corresponding period of 19j0 shown in parentheses; Births 7 (10); deaths 2 (1); marriages nil (3). BULLS, July 2. On Saturday the first qualifying round for the men’s championship of the Rangitikei Golf Club, also the usual 6troke competition, will be held. The following is the draw-:—R. Mackay v. W. Purcell, J. Mitchell v. H. Hendry, R. Mansell v. O. 11. Grut, E. Smart v. A. J. Petrie, JTricker v. N. S. Prichard, G. Drew v. Rich, T. R. Willis v. H Pearce, J. S. Tricker v. G. Bertram, G. Ellis v. F. Fenwick, T. L. Mansell v. R. O. Dalrymple, W. Jenkins v. S. Goebel, D. Willis v. M. C. Gould, K. W. Dalrymplo v. A. K. Drew, H. A. Signal v. A. Amon, S. W. Ingram v. scorer, W. T. Dean v. 11. R. Wilson, J. Ransom v. D. N. Walker, L. V. Homes v. scorer. All cards must be handed in. On Saturday Rata and Bulls Rugby seniors meet at Bulls, and a great game is expected. Rata leads in the competition, and should win, but Bulls players generally put up a big fight on their own ground. Bulls juniors travelled to Halcombo on Wednesday, and suffered defeat ,v 18 points to nil. Bulls Hockey Club met Rata at Bulls on the same afternoon, and also went down badly, 9 goals to 1.
