THE MOVEMENT OF WAR DEBTS BETWEEN GERMANY AND THE UNITED STATES.—The figures given represent in millions of dollars the average yearly payments for the period 1929 to 1965 under the Young Plan. An offer to suspend payment of inter-Allied war debts for a year on condition that the Allies forego reparation payments for the same period was recently made by President Hoover and has found approval with all the countries concerned excepting France with which nation discussions are still being conducted.
