WRESTLING.
NEGOTIATIONS FOR BOUT. PASHA-DEMETRAL CONTEST. The Palmerston North Wrestling Association is at the present time negotiating for a bout between the Turk, Kara Pasha, and the Greek grappler, Denietral. In the event of the bout being arranged, it will take place in Palmerston North in about a fortnight. Demetral, who weighs 1851 b, has drawn with Clarence Ecklund and beaten Tom Alley when tbo latter was by far the heavier of the two. Demetral has met Alle” twice, once, for a win and onc9 for a draw. The Greek has been wrestling with considerable success in Vancouver, not having lost a match there, and recently drew with Abe Colman. He has beaten Farmer Vance, Walter Johanssen, Joe Meyer and John Kilonis. Kara Pasha is well known among wrestling enthusiasts in Palmerston North, haying given spirited and polished exhibitions.
