BOXING AT HAWERA.

Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 1. Harry Johns (Auckland) and Joey Thomas' (America) fought a draw at Hnwera to-night. Johns lost points through boxing with open gloves. INCIDENT AT SYDNEY. BOXER DISQUALIFIED.

SYDNEY, July 1. Billy Tyson, the boxer, and one of ..is seconds have been disqualified for life by the Leichhardt Stadium management. Tyson was engaged in a contest with Gildo, the Filipino, when the referee in the sixth round awarded the fight to Gildo on a foul. Tyson lost his temper and continued to attack his opponent, also one of his seconds and the stadium director, Air Pat Ale Hugh, who tried to pacify him. Finally the police subdued Tyson.
