SHOES HURLED IN COURT. When the prosecutor read the heavy terms of imprisonment demanded for 131 out of the IGB alleged members of the “Mafia” Secret Society, whose trial, which lasted a year, took place at Sciacca (Sicily), the prisoners, incarcerated in iron cages, howled, cursed and prayed. One took off his shoes and hurled one at the president of the Court, the other at tho jury. Both missed, however.
