AUCKLAND’S UNEMPLOYED.

EVICTION ORDER RESISTED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 19. Several score of unemployed this morning occupied a house from which a tenant was to be evicted for the nonpayment of rent. The police arrived, but there was no disorder. Later a member of Parliament undertook responsibility for the payment of the rent in arrears.
