On Friday evening the bachelors of Linton held a very enjoyable dance in the hall. Excellent music was provided by a professional orchestra from Palmerston North. Mr 0. Batchclar performed the duties of M.C. Among those present were: Mrs R. Beckett., in pink georgette; Mrs G. Merriman, black satin and net; . Misses L. Irvine, red velvet and crepe-de-chine; R. Sutherland, floral ninon; M. Rix, apricot satin moire; M. Parker, pink crepe-de-chine; S. Davies, navy crepe-de-chine; R. Terry, scagreon crepe-de-chine; T. Davies, midnight blue satin; M. Tibbies, green satin; M. Rix, pink satin; N. Rix, floral voile; _ T. Newdick, black satin bcaute; E. Madgwick, blue satin; M. Baker, pink lace; N. Fraser, apricot talfetas; L. Rix, blue crepe-de-chmo; I. Cook, red net; Brodn Prica, pink crepe-de-chine; Grace Taylor, blue satin; F. Greening, red satin; M. Freeman, blue satin; N. Chatficld, black chenille and black satin; E.
