MOUNTED RIFLES.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The annual meeting of members and ex-members of the 6th (Manawatu) Mounted Rifles was held at the orderly room. Princess Street, last evening, Squadron Sergeant-Mayor P. Cooper presiding over a good atendance. The election of officers resulted as folows:— Chairman, Squadron Ser-geant-Major J. Cooper;_ secretary. Corporal J. Penman; assistant secretary a.nd treasurer. Trooper L. King; committee, Captain Lees, Captain Gilshnan, Staff-Sergeant-Major Harvey, Lance-Corporal Worsfold, Troopers Parlane, Godbaz, and Cooper. It was decided to hold the annual regimental dinner as usual in Show week.
