TAKARO v. BUNNYTHORPE.
In the final of the B grade Saturday tennis competition,.Takaro beat Bunnythorpe by 8 sets, 124 games, to 6 sets, 109 games. Two sets were unfinished. Details of the play are as follow, Bunnythorpe players being mentioned first:— . Men’s Singles.—Patience beat Spring 13 —11, Duthie lost to Norris 5—9, Robson lost to Bird C—9, Clarke lost to McMurray 2—9. Ladies’ Singles.—Miss E. Robson lost to Miss Marshall 4 —7, Miss D. Robson beat Miss Pickering 7—3. Mrs Patience beat Miss Hosking B—6, Miss beat Miss Brown 7—4. Men’s Doubles. —Patience and Duthie " lost to Spring and Norris B—lo, Robson and Clarke lost to Bird and McMurray 2—9. Ladies’ Doubles.—Miss E. and V\ .
