FOREIGN MISSIONS.
NEW YORK, April 19Foreign missions are facing a thorough overhauling. The American Protestant Churches furnish £8.000,000 annually for India, China, Japan and Burma, and reports of the misuse or waste of funds have caused the appointment of a commission of twelve outstanding religious and medical leaders who will tour the Orient to study the working of the missions.
