STUDENTS’ AUXILIARY.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Students’ Auxiliary was held last evening, Rev. G. T. Brown- presiding. Miss D. Berndtson presented tho annual report, revealing a year of steady work. The financial statement showed a credit balance. It was pointed out that, although there was a balance, no money had been sent to lieadauarters, and the incoming executive was instructed to devise means for raising money for the support of tho wider activities of the movement. It was that honorary members should be approached in regard to this matter. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A.; vice-presidents, Mrs C. A. Small and Rev. L. G. B. Whitehead ; secretary. Miss McLeod; executive, Misses Berndtson and Brown, and Messrs O. Keys and H. Bibbv. An interesting social gathering ensued, and a supper was served by the ladies. An enthusiastic vote of thanks and appreciation was passed to the retiring secretary and also to Miss E. Bland, one of the foundation members, who was retiring from the executive.
