ATTEMPT TO WRECK TRAIN. ' TROUBLE IN QUEENSLAND. Received February 24, 10.5 a.m. BRISBANE, Feb. 24. An abortive attempt rvas made to wreck a mail train, carrying shearers, near Barcaldine. The fishplate bolts were removed and the bogspikes drawn. Shearing is in full swing at' Longreach and Barcaldine. The strike has been .declared oft in the Blackall and Cunnamulla districts.
