CORONERS’ VERDICTS,

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. 19. The inquest on John Charles Styche, who met his death as the result of a motor accident near St. Leonards, on the Port Chalmers Road, on January 3, was continued to-day, when the Coroner’s previous verdict w r as confirmed. At the previous hearing the relatives intimated that they were not satisfied with the examination of the scene made by the police and were given an oportunity to call in an expert. This was done and Mr C. Jackson, who represented the relatives, intimated that they were now completely satisfied. . In confirming 'his previous verdict, that deceased met Ins death through being accidentally drowned when a motor-car which he was driving overturned in the water, the Coroner, Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., remarked that why deceased was proceeding toward Dunedin was a matter of conjecture only.
