MOTORIST FINED.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. 5.
Joseph Whitson, aged 60, drove his car into a creek at Green Island on Saturday night, the consequence being that liis brother was removed to hospital with minor injuries. Whitson appeared in Court this morning charged ivith being drunk while in charge of a car. He was fined £lO and prohibited from driving for 12 months.
