NEW YEAR OUTING. Organised by the combined Friendly Societies, the annual picnic was held at the Ballance Bridge reserve yesterday, and there were over 2000 people present from Palmerston North, Dannevirke, Woodville, Pahiatua, Elcetahuna and Ashhurst.
