EMPIRE TRADE CRUSADER. RETURNING TO DOMINION. * AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. Sir James Parr, formerly High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, expects to return to the Dominion next March. . . , , , Writing to a friend m Auckland, Sir James says that since leaving the High Commissioner’s Office he has had a very busy and interesting year touring Britain and organising and delivering speeches about Empire trade generally. He says his meetings enthusiastically condemned free trade, and he predicts that “it will be knocked out at next general election.” The change in public opinion throughout England had been most marked and the desire to do more business with the Dominions was growing every day.
