FOXTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) v FOXTON, Dec. 10. A car, in avoiding a collision with another vehicle, shot over the footway and through tho fence surrounding the Mayßr’s residence, breaking the wire and snapping off several posts. Fortunately no one was injured nor was tho car soriously damaged. The friends of Mr W. do Ridder will rogret to learn that ho is confined to his bed and unable to get about.
At tho annual installation of tho Druids’ Dodge, District President Bro. D. Ball installed tho following officers: J.P.A., Bro. A. H. McGill; Arch Druid, Bro. G. Cull; V.A., Bro. T. Yardley; secretary, Bro. E. Fuller; treasurer, Bro. E. Parkin; 1.G., Bro. G. Shaw; 0.G., Bro. G. Westwood; A.O. Bards, Bro. N. A. Cresswcll and Sister Fuller; V.A. Bards, Bro. T. Fuller and Sister Shorthouse; minute secretary, P.A. Bro. W. MoKnight. Bro. McKnight was unanimously elected as Grand Lodge dologato to tho P.D.C. P.D.P. Bro. F. Woods acted, as M.C. during the installation. At the conclusion of business the lodgo entered into harmony, when an enjoyablo programme and a sumptuous supper was provided by the Social Committee. Visitors were present from the Oroua, Palmerston North, Horowhenua and Levin lodges.
