HUNGER STRIKE OVER. INFLAMMATORY" STATEMENT. Received December 11, 8.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec, 11. The imprisoned Communists have given up the hunger strike. An inflammatory statement to this effect has been issued by the Communist headquarters. It declares that the Capitalists would benefit by their deaths and the real object of Communism would be defeated. The statement also attacks the Lang Government for keeping tlieir members in prison.
