SIR THOMAS LIPTON.

PRESENTED WITH CUP OF GOODWILL. NEW YORK, Dec. 4. Sir Thomas Lipton was presented to-day with the Cup of Goodwill for his sportsmanship by Mr James Walker, Mayor of New York, who, with Mr Will Rogers, the well-known humorist, arranged a public subscription for the gift. Mr Rogers, who was unable to be present, sent the following telegram: “You think this a fine cup? This is nothing to the one we are give you when you lose next time.
