HUTT ROAD COLLISION.
FURTHER DETAILS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. Further details in connection with the head-on collision on the Hutt Road aro to the effect that Mrs Hinds resides at Island Bay. Mrs Jorgenson is injured about the head, body and legs and her condition is somewhat serious. Mr Norman Wallace resides at 90 The Terrace and Miss Anna Findlater and her sister, Dr Findlater, are both resident at Lower Hutt. Mr Wallace is a newspaper proof reader. The collision was an extremely bad one and before anything could be done Mrs Dwan arrived on the scene and crashed into the Findlater car. This car is a complete wreck, tho body being shaved right back and the radiator being forced back upon the engine, which in its turn is pressed back into the driver’s compartment. The wheels were smashed off at the hubs and the steering; column left bare. The right side of Mr Wiggs’s car was tom practically clean away, evidently having received the impact just behind the driver’s seat. , A message relative to the above appears on page 8.
