BUILDING NOW SAFE. Received November 15, 11.45 a.m. ' LONDON, Nov. 14. “St. Paul’s Cathedral is safe now and my work is finished,” declared Sir Mervyn MacArtney in resigning the surveyorship of St. Paul’s, which he has held for 26 years. “If Sir Christopher Wren had been more experienced the building would not have been classed as dangerous,” added Sir Mervyn.
