MEMBERS LEAVE ENGLAND

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 19,

On the departure of the members of the British Economic Mission to the Far East, Mr Arthur Henderson today sent the chairman a message wishing them success, and adding: “Your visit to Japan is a sign of the uninterrupted friendship so happily existing between the two countries. To China your visit will he an assurance of the 'deep interest which the British Government and the people have in that country’s welfare.”
