Claiming that he had a right to talk as plainly to a deputation of unemployed as its leaders had done to him, the Prime Minister, Hon. G. W. Forbes, issued a w.arning in Wellington yesterday in regard to the conduct of some of the men on relief works in the country districts. The Prime Minister said that the Government had done everything possible to relievo the unemployment position. A number of complaints had been made regarding the conduct of men on jobs in the country, ; and the men responsible for that conduct should realise that they had responsibilities in the matter as well. If they did not do that they would very soon lose the sympathy of the public. A special purchase of 120 auto rugs from the Wanganui mills enables us to offer this splendid line at 25s each.
