ROAD RACING.
PROFESSIONAL CYCLISTS’ EVENT Local professional cyclists will compete in a 46 mile road race to-morrow. The • course to bo traversed will be twice round the Feilding block. The first lap will commence at Terrace End proceeding thence to Feilding via Vogel Street and Bunnythorpe, and returning to Terrace End via Boundary Road and Ruahinc Street. The second lap will he over the same course, except that the latter portion of the return trip will bo made through Vogel Street. First, second and third trophies will be donated as well as the prize money.
The following handicaps have been declared by Mr C. Jennings, the official handicapper :—AY. Collins 2min, E. Pedley lOmiii, J. Towler 16min, it. Walker 18min. E. Burrell 2-smin, it. Bateman 25min, S. AA’ard 30min, P. A. Larsen 35min, J. Knowles 40mni, AY. Dixon 40min.
