TURN OF THE TIDE.

AUSTRALIAN FINANCES. DISENTANGLING PROCESS. LONDON, Aug. 12. A feature of the market in investment securities is the recovery of Australian Government stocks, which is attributed to the good harvest in Australia and the effect of tho drought in the United States. Rises of a quarter to one and a lralf are recorded. The Financial Times says: “The general advance of Australian stocks is duo to a growing impression that the financial problems are being disentangled.
