DRIVER KILLED.

CAR PLUNGES INTO CREEK. DROP OF 50 FEET. Per Press Association. % AUCKLAND, July 27. A fatal motor accident occurred on a bridge at Albany late last night. A large car plunged 50 feet into the bed of a creek and the driver, E. J. Fraser, of Northcote, was killed. Mrs Catherine Ralston, of Northcote, received serious injuries to her head and Clenient Peters, of Northcote, received injuries to his head. It is stated that the car skidded on the bridge, crashed through the railing and fell to the bed of the creek. Mr Fraser died almost immediately. It was fortunate that the tide was out when the accident occurred, otherwise all would have been in danger of drowning. Mr Fraser was aged 40, and leaves a widow and one child.
