MITCHELL. —On July 17th, 1930, at the residence of his sister, Mrs L. O. Rowe, 16 Featherston Street, Palmerston North. John Alexander Mitchell (late of Shannon), eldest son of late Andrew and Jane Mitchell, of Papanui, Christchurch; aged 57 years. CLARE.—On July 16th, 1930, at the Palmerston North Hospital, Mary Anna, dearly loved wife of- Charles H. Clare, of Carnarvon; aged 52 years.
