SUVA, July 15. The semi-finals have been reached ifl the open rinks and pairs championships in connection with the bowling carnival. In the former, three New Zealand and one Fiji rink remain. New Zealand won the Pacific Pennant for the first time, defeating Fiji by 59 points to 33, and Australia by 50 to 21. - The bowlers have gone to a fire walking display to-day.
