PALMERSTONIAN ABROAD.

RETURNING IN NOVEMBER. Writing from Hull under date of June 17, Mr C. E. Dempsy, of Palmerston North, who is enjoying a holiday visit to the Old Country, stated in a private letter that he had found his way to Yorkshire after a pleasant voyage. He had attended the Derby at Epsom and had seen the ceremony of Trooping the Colours at Buckingham Palace. At the time of forwarding the letter, he mentioned that he had “done all the best shops in London, but could not buy anywhere as cheaply as in Wellington and Palmerston North.” Mr Dempsy added that he was contemplating a'visit to Ireland and would return later to London. Subsequently, he proposed to tour France by car, while a brief trip to Norway was within the bounds of possibility. He was enjoying a pleasant holiday, but was looking forward to returning to New Zealand. He would bo leaving England in the middle of October.
