MR TAITE TE TOMO ACCEPTED

(By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) MARION, July 15.

Mr Taite te Tomo, of Tokorangi, Maori organiser for the Reform Party for several years, who has just returned from Wellington, intimated to-day that he had been officially accepted by the party’s headquarters as the Reform nominee for Western Maori in succession to the late Sir Maui Pomare. It is understood that Mr Te Tomo has a l&rge backing from the natives.
