BASKETBALL.

SECONDARY SCHOOLS MATCH. The annual basketball match between the pupils of the Palmerston North Technical School and the Masterton Technical High School will be played at the Grey street grounds tomorrow morning. The game, which will commence at 11.30 o’clock, should attract a large number of basketball enthusiasts, as the matches are usually or a high standard. The following are tlio teams: Palmerston North Forwards, Ngaire Blundell, Joan Crombie, Joyce Clevelyj centres, Jean Barnie, Kathleen Richards, Gladys Palenski; defence, Joan Shephard (captain), Nancy. Woodd, Helene Clinton. Emergencies: Eileen Wood, Jean Raleigh, Marjorie Wagstaffe. The Masterton team will be chosen front the following.—Tangi Elers (captain), Phyllis Madsen, Uiive Long, Molly McCalmont, Molly Wishart, Daphne Gillespie, Molly Herdman, Una Beech, Monica Gadsby, Eleanor Rippon and Dawn Benton. Mr L. Berry will be the referee.
