Miss Maisie Hammond, of Turakina Valley, has' been spending a holiday in W anganui. Miss Winifred Muir, of Huntcrville, has been the guest of Afro T. G. Harpur, Marton. Children in all kinds of costumes revelled for several hours in tho Upper Tuaenui hall on Thursday last, the occasion being the annual fancy dress ball of tho school.
