MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Complicated negotiations regarding the purchase of a truck were detailed before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court yesterday when the Standard Brewery Company, Ltd. (Mr Gordon), proceeded against Magnus Motors, Ltd., of Palmerston North (Mr Ongley) for recovery of £122 9s lOd. The details of the claim were : £95 for a truck allegedly sold to the defendants, £5 for proportion of insurance on another truck bought by the plaintiff, and £22 9s for tyres and tubes. After hearing evidence His Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for £7O 10s and costs £7 11s.
