WOOL SALES.
LONDON SERIES. GOOD COMPETITION. Received May 20, 11.0 a.m. LONDON, May 19. At the wool sales to-day, 10,313 bales were offered, including 2720 from New Zealand. Approximately 5000 bales were sold. There was a moderate offering of Merinos, and a good supply of New Zealand crossbreds. There was a brisk tone and good competition. Prices were maintained. New Zealand realisations: Greasy crossbred, Omapere, top price 13d, average 12d; lialfbred, Rigbrooke, 13id. Finest New Zealand slipo lambs, C.f.m. Belfast 15$d; finest lialfbred greasy combing, Key, 14Jd.
