THEFT FROM NURSES’ HOME.

(By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, May 20. Cash was stolen from a room occupied by two nurses at the Nurses’ Home attached to St. Helen’s Hospital over the week-end. Tho two nurses were Miss Hadheld and Miss Spence. They left their room on Friday afternoon to go on duty, and when they returned they lound that the room had been thoroughly ransacked. The drawers were pulled out and the clothes thrown about. It Ls thought that entry was gained by the -window. Several thefts have been reported from the Nurses’ Home.
