MR BLACK RESIGNS OFFICE. “RIGHT AND PROPER ACTION.” Per Press Association. NELSON, May 17. Mr G. C. Black, member for Motueka, interviewed on his return from Rotorua, said he had no comment to make on the present political situation. “As the office of Junior Government Whip,” said Mr Black, “was conferred upon, me when the United Party took ffice by Sir Joseph Ward personally, -'have deemed it only right and proper to now resign such position, and I have accordingly sent my resignation to my retiring leader.”
