BOOKMAKER FINED.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND' Alay 15. Arrested this morning, Thomas AVilliam Lecce, of Eden Terrace, was charged before Air F. K. Hunt, S.AL, with keeping a common gaming house. Ho was also described as a bookmaker. Leece pleaded guilty. Chief-Detective Hammond said that accused had one previous conviction — in July of last year. Lcece was fined £IOO, with the alternative of three months in gaol, and was allowed 48 hours in which to pay-
