INCREASES IN OUTPUT. PAYMENTS FOR BUTTERFAT. Manufacturing daily twelve export cheeses, the Taikorea Dairy Co. wjU pay Is 3d for buttorfat supplies during April. The companv lias installed an electric curd mill and this is working very satisfactorily. _ The Glen Oroua (iui) Dairy Company is producing 14 cheeses daily and will pay Is per lb for April butterfat supplies. , The Bainesse Dairy Company has a present output of nine export cheeses daily. There lias been a decided increase in production this year. The advance for April supplies has been fixed at Is. „ •„ The Oroua Downs Dairy Co. will advance Is 3d per lb for Apnl supplies. The company has decided that additional accommodation is required for a further three vats, as in the peak of the season the existing five vats were inadequate This year, during the flush, 20001bs of cream had to be sent to Massev College, owing to no vats being available. The company estimates that next year there will be an increase of 3000 to 40001bs of buttorfat to the factory.. Farmers in the district are topdressing heavily this season, and the chairman of directors (Mr F. C R a ikes) attribu-es the increased production to that tactor.
