POHANGINA RIFLE CLUB, (From Our Own Correspondent.) POHANGQINA, April 15. On Saturday, April sth, the Pohangina Valley Rifle Club continued its season’s shooting on the Raumai range. The “N” Squadron of the Legion of Frontiersmen will hold camp at Pohangina during Easter and on Saturday, April 19th. A competition under service conditions will be held betweem them and tho local club.

The monthly shoot of the Pohangina Valley Rifle Club was held on Saturday last on the Raumai range. Mr B. Nash’s trophy was competed for over ranges of 300yds and 500yds, and was won by Rflm. D. Balmer. A very strong, gusty wind was blowing. Tho individual scores were as follow: —

PERSONAL. Mr and Airs Gilberts, of Wakefield, Nelson, are visiting tho Valley and are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. T. Moar. Mr and Mrs G. L. Wagstaff left to-day to spend Easter in the Waikato. Tho Misses B. and G. Culling left last week for a few weeks’ tour of tho South Island.

Arrangements are well in hand for the annual dance to be held on Easter Monday night in the Pohangina Hall. A professional orchestra ha 3 been engaged and, given a fine night, the young people’s effort to make this year’s dance tho most, successful yet held should be crowned with success.
