It was reported that the last race fc meeting Field on the Sportsground was i a financial success and tho next fixture = was -arranged for May 21 (May " Hurdles, President’s Handicap, Tiretea " Hurdles and Stewards’ Handicap). s The committee decided to call a 3 general meeting of members at an early ? date to explain the methods followed ■* in tho National Association handicap--3 ping.. v • There was a profit of £3 2s 9d shown ‘ on the last race meeting, and it was s decided that £2l in stakes should be ‘ distributed at the May fixture.
