PALMERSTON NORTH TECHNICAL • SCHOOL. DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP. On Saturday, at tho Palmerston North Technical School's tennis courts at tho Grey Street grounds, play in tho doubles tournament was continued. Linda Wilkinson and Davoy met Daphino Robinson and Howo in the final, and, after a very even game, tho latter won by 31 to 29. Tho detailed results for tho remaining rounds are as follow: — Fourth round. —Maudo Gillespie and J. Blackwood beat Eiieon Peters and Ron Howo 30 —26; Linda Wilkinson and Davey beat Winnie Howarth and Wallis 30—ffi; Daphino Robinson and Howe beat Colbourne and Bartlett 30—17; Margaret Beals and Whiteman won by default from Ngairo Blundell and Rog Howo; I. Carruthors and ** Fifth a round.—Daphino Robinson and Howo beat Margaret Beals and Whiteman 30—13; Linda Wilkinson and Davey won bv default from I. Carruthors and Hands;' Maudo Gillcspio and J. Blackwood * Semi-final. —Linda Wilkinson and Davey beat Maude Gillospio and J. Blackwood 30—29; Daphino Robinson and Howo a by Final— Daphine Robinson and Howe beat Linda Wilkinson and Davey 31—29.
