CURIOUS MURDER.

LONDON, April 12. A curious murder took place on Dartford Heath, near London. Evelyn Parker, aged 23, was walking with her younger sister Joan across the heath, when a man sprang out from some bushes, pushed Joan aside, and stabbed Evelyn m the back with a knife. The blade penetrated her heart. The murderer then instantly disappeared. The knife was discovered in the bushes.

Later, Albert Edward Margeram, of Belvedere, was arrested and charged with murder. / When asked to plead, he said: “I am very sorry it occurred: I never intended to do any murder.’’ Margerain was remanded until April 17.
