EXPLOSION IN MINE.
TWENTY-ONE KILLED. TACOMA (Washington); April 13. ’’ ■ A terrific gas explosion occurred 500 feet underground in the Carbonado coal mine on Saturday night. Twentyone miners were killed. A number of the dead were recovered three hours later.
