SIR JOSEPH WARD’S CABLEGRAM. • Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 12. The following cablegram was disgatclied by the Premier to the High ommissioner on the occasion of the entertainment of the British footballers by tho New Zealand Association in liondon: — : “On the occasion of dire ,New Zealand Association’s annual dinner, I extend on behalf of .the Government and people of this Dominion oilr. warmest greetings to our kinsfolk in the Mother Country, and our good wishes to your guests for a most successful gathering. “Please also inform the British Rugby team that a real welcome awaits them on arrival here. , Such visits assuredly serve to strengthen still * further the ' affection which unites the two countries. ’ ’ 'v* ; !•* *
